Aging Oven
Aluminum Aging (Thermal) Ovens are devices that enable the aluminum profiles advanced in the production line to be strengthened with a special process.
These ovens are used in areas where aluminum profiles are subjected to a special process and hardened. At the specified temperature and time intervals, aluminum profiles are carefully treated in the oven and undergo precipitation hardening, that is, aging.
The porous structure of aluminum turns into a more robust structure with the profiles kept in the oven at certain temperatures and time periods during this process. The temperature level of the oven varies between 160-210ºC according to the properties of the alloy applied to the process and this value is adjusted according to the requirements of the process.
These special ovens prevent the material from sudden thermal shock, thanks to the indirect heating method with the thermoblock, in which aluminum profiles are exposed to the specified thermal conditions. This ensures that the profiles reach the desired properties reliably.
